Relaxing Beads
After a couple of weeks of heat control as an extreme sport and some high-risk eBay behavior to go along with that, I found that what I really needed was to relax with some little round beads. Little round beads are fun sometimes, and so delightfully unstressful. It's nice to go back to them every once in a while, possibly adding some new nuances like raked dots or bits of twisties and murrini leftover from my mandala beads. I will probably go back to the mandalas sometime soon, but in the meantime:
This set is called 'Soft Glow', and I really love it. Raked dots... I am all about raked dots these days. More to come.
I think I'm getting better with Bullseye glass as I go along. The colors are wonderful on their own, but once you figure out how to layer them nicely, possibilities are endless... and soooo pretty.

This is a set called 'Bejeweled', which I decided to divide into two parts.
Yes, I actually named a set 'Bejeweled'.
Why, you ask?
Errr... no particular reason. It's not that I'm addicted to a certain game on Facebook or that it's eating up all my time or anything.

And this is 'Hotshots', a set of disks (discs or disks?) I made back when I was making sets of disks (or discs) - finally cleaned, photographed and good to go. Lustre colors are another great thing about Bullseye glass. Ooooh, shiny!

In Other News:
There's a huge Fundraiser Raffle going on on TorchBugs these days, with LOTS of glassy prizes!
