A Few Questions for the Folks in Oz

Uh, hi, me again. I should really be getting some sleep, but there are a few things on my mind.

I have some questions for Australia:

1. If I came to Oz around December or January, would you be interested in taking my classes?

Or would it be like, 'Oh great, HER again'?

2. If you participated in one or more of my classes in the past, would you be interested in taking a new workshop if there were one available?

3. If you answered 'yes' to 1 or 2 - where would your preferred location be? (Note: I like big cities.)

You can post your answers in the comments (or e-mail me). You're not making any kind of commitment either way (nor am I) - I'm just trying to get a general feel for things. If you know someone in Oz who might be interested, I'd appreciate it if you could let them know about this post.

Many thanks - and good night, for real this time.

    Hi Sarah!
Was thinking about you the other day and thought you might be interested in teaching at one of the McGregor Summer (or Winter) Schools held in Toowoomba QLD - not a capital city, but not that small either - and they're attached to the University of Southern Queensland. They have had glass beadmaking there before, so maybe you could do some advanced classes??....here's their website:

My other suggestion is to contact Lily Dickson in Melbourne....she's one of the main glass suppliers here in Australia and holds classes in her home - has a studio and guest accomodation too....and she's just such a lovely lady!!....she may be in the US at the moment though, but her hubby, Mark, should be at home with the kids....her websiet is:

    Have fun and take care!

Hi Sarah, I hope you are well
Answer to your questions, I would definitely take one/more of your classes again, if i can afford it and if it was a bit closer to home would be a lot easier, so my preference would be Melbourne, that would make it a lot more affordable . It would be great to have you back in Australia, I miss you. Also for anyone else who reads this and is thinking about what they would get from one of your workshops, don't think just DO IT. Sarah has put a lot of time and effort into her beadmaking that a lot of us don't have, she is extremely generous with her knowledge and she is so lovely. So Sarah come on down!!!!!!

    Cheers Jane

Hi Sarah. I am so pleased that you are thinking about coming back to Aus. We must have made a good impression on you hey?

December and January would be out for me to participate in any workshops. I'll be too broke after buying my tribe of grandchildren their Christmas presents, and I am already committed to a week of jewellery classes in January. (Thankfully that one is already paid for...)

But I will definitely come and say hi if you end up back to Brissy...

    Hugs

    Hey Sarah,
I'd love to do some more of your classes, I would be there in a second. But after the cost of Brissy (but worth every cent!), Sydney would be great. Canberra is only 3 hours from Sydney rather than 14 to Brissy or 8 to Melbourne! Hope you can make it!!

Hello Sarah... I would LOVE for you to come back... I missed out on the QLD classes due to family comitments - Sydney or Central Coast (about an hour north of Sydney) would be brilliant! December/ Jan would be great too... then I could tell everyone what a great combined Christmas/ birthday present one of your classes would be!

    Hi Sarah,
I was unfortunate enough to miss your wonderful classes in June, so I would love the opportunity to come and bask in your knowledge next time. Selfishly, I would love you to come to Brisbane again, but I would travel anywhere not to miss you again.

    Hi Sarah,
I didn't get to do your class this time around but would definately be interested if you're planning to visit again.
Sydney would be my city of choice if it's possible.

Hi Sarah! would love another class, Melbourne of course... just think.. you haven't been this far south before, and then the Adelaide and Tassie people have a good chance too. Lily Dickson or Pauline Delaney have their finger on the pulse in terms of organising these sort of things down this way. Also Melbourne summer climate is not boiling hot and humid like Brisbane and Sydney, specially in the middle of summer, we still get hot tho! Melbourne is a FABULOUS city, you'll love it. We are really good with food too. For class preference, I know you can come up with something interesting so I am easy!
