Hello from Starving Artist Central
I know it's a long shot, but does anyone who reads my ramblings here happen to secretly be a particularly generous multimillionaire who finds me somewhat entertaining?
If you're not, but you can afford to buy a bead, could you please bid on one of my auctions tonight? I'm feeling kind of pathetic right now, but I DESPERATELY NEED CASH. The past couple of weeks have been like trying to run up an escalator that's going down.
Besides, I personally think I've been producing some of my best work ever lately.
Back to the torch... later.

hi Sarah
sorry to hear about your enforced diet!! I've just bid on Mystical Mint & Rosa! I have to go sleep now - so will find out in the morning if I have won either of them - if nothing else, I will have bumped the price up enough for you to "keep the wolf from the door" at least for a while!!!
take care

SweetiePie, I love your lampwork but you need to snap out of it. Your beads, a single bead, regularly go for a LOT of bucks, more than any other Ebay artist. And you deserve it because your work is gorgeous. FYI, I am a breast cancer survivor and to see your plea for us to bid on your beads, immediately following a death notice for a friend of yours...really, get a grip. It could be much worse.
Love your work, always.

Well - I hope it is clear to everyone reading this, that I would not resort to "pleading" if it this blog were not my last thread of hope.
With all due respect to Walter and those who knew him - which is LOTS - the show must go on. The rapid decline in the dollar rate has affected me very badly, my glass is my sole source of income and I am dangerously close to being kicked out of my apartment.
I'm truly sorry if I offended you (or anybody else). That was never my intention.
Thanks for the compliments.

Well - I missed out on some fab beads.
I think we are all having financial problems at the moment, and as you say Sarah: life goes on, which includes keeping a roof over our heads. You must be in dire straits to have asked for your friends to help out - nobody is buying my jewellery either - its not exactly a necssesity (how do you spell that?)I need to spend today sorting out my website to sell from (hopefully) so may need some help from an ex-web designer!! to everyone reading this - I hope things aren't too difficult for you at this globally penny-pinching time. Hope you now have enough to pay your rent Sarah.
best regards!

I adore your work and I would buy if I wasn't a starving artist and student!!! Nothing else for it...Part-time job for extra cash or move back home to Mum and Dads! Then share a studio with your other glass buddies. I know that is not an idea that takes your fancy too much. At least from what I can tell, you live in a relatively safe part of Israel.
Cheers
Jenny

I love your work and understand your situation all too well. I hadn't thought too much about the value of the dollar as it might affect you. Ouch! I can't afford to buy a bead right now, but can spare $25 for a friend in need. I know from what you write, you are not living a "lavish" lifestyle. Can I paypal you? Consider it payment for the wonderful bead making video. Hopefully I will get to meet you and take a class from you someday. I do have 2 of your beads and love them.

I am not a multimillionaire, and your beads a LITTLE BIT MORE then entertaining for me, but I will trying my best for you. Sorry, Sarrochka, but I am not going to put comments for some times, because I am having some bad time right now (going through some shit with my 17years old son). I love you and your talent. Please continue doing things you like to do in your life! It is very important! Thank you so much, you bring a lot of joy in my life. Hope to talk to you soon.
