Yesterday was the single most bizarre day of my life, and today hasn't even started yet
When I say "bizarre" I mean it in a good way - a really good way - but you knew that already, right?

Life's Good

Can you even imagine my starstruckedness?

Beautiful Murano

Outside the Effetre warehouse, where we got to keep a few special sample rods.

Glass is literally EVERYWHERE. Please do look at my Flickr,

Sometime in the middle of the day, the sun suddenly came out, painting everything in the most gorgeous colors in the world.

The view from the studio

Di East and Cosita, Pati Walton's chihuahua
I knew I was going to have a great time here, but so far, this place is totally exceeding my expectations. Everyone is so nice and friendly - I just can't stop smiling. I am so high on life right now.
It looks like today might be another sunny day, so I think I might go explore the rest of Venice or something. Tomorrow I begin teaching in the world's coolest studio. Woohoo!
See ya soon.

Hi Sarah, oh my gosh that is soooo cool! i love the pics, that pic with the curled up glass and the building in the background is delish! it is such a cool combo! it sounds like stepping out of the "loner" scenario once in a while is all you need to happily retreat back into your home for a while until the next time!!!! lol!
