Pure Gold
From a comment to my last post, by Shopmonkey Chris:
"Sarah makes stunning beads of swirly, joyous, heartfelt chaos cause that's what's bouncing around inside Sarah's skull, and the glass just lets it show itself."
Brilliant. I love it. Mind if I use it in my artist's statement? I have to write one.
By the way, I love the new photo on your homepage.
Clearance!
I'm having a spring clearance sale on eBay: five sets, one auction!

Enjoy.
More Gold (and silver, and other stuff)
I've been trying, literally for days, to get a decent picture of myself wearing the beautiful necklace I got from Linda Lee. I give up. There will never be a decent picture. I am photogenically challenged and my stupid forehead keeps taking over. I wanted you to see the necklace anyway, even though it's MUCH better in person (as am I). The beads are from my Subliminal set.
Maybe someone will get a better picture in Murano... maybe I'll even get one with Linda Lee in the picture, 'cause she'll be in Murano too! That would be cool. Week and a half to go! Can you smell the pizza yet?
Amnesia
I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say, but I can't remember what it was. Oh well.
See ya soon.

Sarah, I love this photo of you it has the look of a kid on swing on a lazy day.
That necklace is stunning and so are you

It's a lovely photo, it makes you looks like you're thinking very deep thoughts. And the necklace is pretty also.

I agree, this IS a great photo of you!
See, I've been told that jewelry is the hardest thing to photograph. I think you did pretty well with this photo though.

Shopmonkeys are pleased that our incoherent mumblings could be used to a greater purpose than cluttering up the internets. By all means, use away!
And many a thank you for the shout out link, by the way.
Humm dee dum dumm... Oh, while we're on the subject of our little corner of the interwebs, has the Lovely and Talented Sarah noticed that in addition to the full soda line, we now have many more lead colors than before? And that with the US dollar heading even lower by the day (now running about 3.5 ILS, or 0.63 EUR, or 50p for the UK, or $1.08AUS, or 1 for 1 in Canada) those outside the US can get their Satake glass at bargain basement prices? And that Dogmaw Glass is still operating under the OLD pricing structure, which will save people at least $4US per pound, which is even less than what you can get it from Satake? And that Sarah's Satake beads that you made before was absolutely luverly?
Why do I mention it? Oh, no reason really. Just making conversation. ^_^
Loves and kisses and comment spam,
