Post-Europe Beads

I'm in an experimental mood and things have been

getting even stranger than usual. I've been trying out

some new shapes - or maybe 'forms' would be a

better word - attempting to push the boundaries of

my usual designs.

After all, there are no rules...

I've been exploring gravity, trying to

create interesting forms and patterns

with minimal use of tools. I like what

happens when the glass just does its

own thing.

It's not like anyone's expecting my
beads to be symmetrical or anything.

I am still a big fan of Michelangelo...

seriously, this is wonderful glass. I've

been using it in almost every bead I

make. It goes so well with everything...

even in unexpected color combos..

But mainly, I am just having fun. I have a newfound energy,

I think... the 'Back Home Blues' are behind me and I just

want to melt glass all the time.

I am even brainstorming for my book, taking things one

small step at a time.

Could I actually do this?

Hmmm.
