New Bead Sets

I had another weird week, with lots of errands - all the running around tends to suck the energy out of me. But this weekend, I finally had some torching time, and I suddenly found myself in a "set mood" again. It happens! So I made two whole sets, both with my beloved new #00 size frits. They came out very different from one another, and I really like both of them!

I guess spring is in the air... you gotta admit, these colors are fun!

This was a fun set to make, since it's been ages since I made a set without a press... actually, I'm not sure if I ever made a set with irregular shapes before.

I ordered some more #00 frits in new colors last week... can't wait for them to arrive! I really love this stuff.

On a different matter - a couple of days ago, I received the other photos from my photo-shoot for Ma'ariv. Spilt milk and all, I know... but as it turns out, of course they chose the absolute worst photo to go in the paper. There were some really good photos in the bunch, but they just had to turn me into the depressed girl who's hiding from the world behind her hair. Argh.
This one is my favorite, and there's nothing much to do with it now, so... enjoy.

Now I'm off to the torch - you can find me there for the rest of the day (at least)!
Have a great week.

This is why I can't be a lampworker. Too much steam from drooling in the flame . . . .
