So many new colors, so little time...
As if the world of glass weren't addictive enough as it is, lately it seems like new colors are being invented faster than I can melt them! I just got a big glass shipment last week with lots of new shades... it's like receiving a huge box of candy! I also got a new MP3 player last week, wooohooo. So now I can finally listen to music over the roar of my torch.
As you can imagine, I've been in Hot Head heaven these past few days, happily torching away, trying to get to all the new colors (not there yet!) and listening to my favorite music. Life is good!
I just posted a new set on eBay - this one is called New Amsterdam and it was made with two great new colors: CiM's 'Leaky Pen', a divine shade of deep blue, and ASK-104's 'Silver Cinnamon', a gorgeous brown that shifts in color from creamy caramel to dark sepia.
(I have already ordered more of both colors!)

As I was looking at these beads when they came out of the kiln, I realized that the colors have a striking resemblance to some photos I took in Amsterdam a couple of years ago - they have been hanging on my wall for the past year or so. Weird! More photos here.
(Shoozles, I thought you would like this story!)

I also have some focal auctions up right now, ending in a couple of days.
Not enough beads, you say?
I've recently added this colorful bunch of focals to the shop:

Get them while they're hot!
Well, not literally.
And before I sign off for today - a big congrats to Vachu, my glass-fusing friend from Argentina, on her new blog! Good luck - I can't wait to read more!
