It's not Thursday, but... new auctions up!

Yeah, the "Thursday system" sounded like a good idea at the time, but... as predicted, I just can't handle a schedule. Oh well.

3 new auctions up today:

Rainforest Rhythm

I am loving making these larger round beads. I thought they would be less challenging, but I think they are actually more of a challenge - since there's so much more room for detail on them!

Earth, Wind and Fire

I struggled a bit to find a good name for these, but then I suddenly realized that the twisties were in the colors of the four elements - greens for earth, blues for air and water and of course oranges for fire.
So, why not name the set "Earth, Air, Water and Fire"? I was contemplating it, but I thought it sounded a little clumsy and perhaps a little pretentious - not to mention too long to fit into the eBay title. I like "Earth, Wind and Fire" better!

Organika

Hey, look! I made an organic set! This is a first for me. I've tried it before, but never really liked the results - you would think organics would be easy, just use some silver (silver seems to make everything it touches look organic) over whatever color(s) and swish it all around a little. But I've learned (after making a couple of sets that came out of the kiln looking like nicely-pressed little bits of mud) that making a nice-looking organic bead is much harder than it looks.
I absolutely love these beads. They were fun to make and a lot of fun to look at.

I love them so much that here is another macro shot:

I just can't get over these colors!

Today I received a package in the mail from my friend Michelle, AKA Shoozles - check out all the cool stuff I got!
Michelle is an awesome fusing artist. If you like glass (duh, who wouldn't like glass?) I highly recommend you check out her Etsy shop for some wonderful and fun colorful goodies. I think I am developing a new addiction!
Thanks so much my dear, you made my day!
