It's Raining Beads!
My new orphans are up for grabs!
A couple of days ago was the first rain of the season - always an exciting moment, since it doesn't rain here at all during the summer months. It was around 3 AM, and I was ecstatically happy - I'd been waiting for this summer to end forever. Not that it's not going to be hot and humid till December or so - but hey, now there's hope! (My cat was less than thrilled.)
So, I decided to name this orphan mix It's Raining Beads!
Check eBay for more photos and info.
I'm taking a little risk and starting this auction at 99 cents... never tried that before. Yikes!
Have a great week!

I hate rain and winter! Anyway, another option I just heard of this week is setting a hidden minimum for your sale. So bidding starts low, but there's a certain minimum you don't have to sell for...useful?

I used to be a summer person too, until I moved to Tel Aviv - now I am a winter person! Give me rain!!!
The "hidden minimum" is known as a "reserve price" - like here for instance: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330030855207
See the "Reserve not met" text under the price?
I've never used one on my auctions before, mainly because I hate running into them when I am trying to bid on something. It's like, just tell me how much money you want and don't play games with me.
I could be wrong here, but I tend to think that a reserve price drives away a lot of bidders.
